2012 Board of Directors:
Pam is the VP of Sales at 7 Second Solutions, and is a 30-year sales and marketing veteran. She is also a triathlete who works as a race director for various events around the country. Pam loves the outdoors, art, and animals - she even volunteers regularly with the Memphis Humane Society.
Pam has served many positions on the SMS board, and we are thrilled to have her leadership this year as President. Mike is a current officer who has served on the board more than any other. As past President, Mike brings experience and connections to the organization.
Mike is a Senior Account Manager with Vulcan Information Packaging Mr. Dale Kehr is an Instructor of Marketing in the Department of Marketing and Supply Chain Management in the Fogelman College of Business & Economics at the University of Memphis. Mr. Kehr has twelve years of university teaching experience in marketing/supply chain management and two years of adjunct teaching experience, receiving the University of Memphis outstanding adjunct teaching award in 1999. He is also the Director of Student Involvement and Education for the SMS, and it was under his direction in 2011 that the scholarship was awarded for the first time. Joyce is the Branch Manager at CPI Office Products, and we are excited to have her join the board this year. Jan has been in Healthcare/Medical sales for over 20 years. She has a B.A. & M.S. in Psychology from the University of Memphis, and is the very proud mother of 2, and wife of Ed Brucker for 26 years. Jan is currently the National Account Manager at Formulary Productions. Andy is an account executive at TW Telecom with over 12 years of experience in technology sales. A life-long Memphian, Andy and his wife Stacy are the proud parents of Dakotah, Zealand, and Reagan. Steve is with the Marketing department of Monogram Foods, and this year makes a move from Marketing and Communications to focus more on new membership development. For more than twenty years Hutton has been helping businesses, from startup to multi-national, grow by launching innovative products and marketing programs.
As an independent consultant, Hutton develops marketing strategy, coordinates product and program development, and manages details of campaign delivery. Catherine is the owner and designer of Classic Legacy personalized custom gifts. Classic Legacy serves retailers, hotels, resorts, and corporations. Joanna is the Advertising Director with the Memphis Business Journal and a local Memphian. This is her 4th year serving on the SMS board of directors. Patrick is the Director of Marketing & Public Relations at NexAir. Serving his second year on the SMS board, Patrick is a 2005 graduate of the University of South Carolina. Deb serves as the Coordinator for the SMS, and is one of our most valued assets. She is a fantastic recruiter for new members, and always ensures that guests at SMS events connect with someone!
