The November 16 SMS luncheon featured Ken Edmundson,   Founder and Chairman of Edmundson Northstar Business Research.   His topic was "Recognizing unique skills of your team in developing business strategy and creating a leadership agenda".

The SMS is committed to helping the next generation or marketing and sales professionals achieve their educational goals.  Our scholarship program was finalized in 2010 and the first recipient was selected in 2011. Kaitlin Brucker, a student at the University of Memphis, received the $1000 scholarship award, to be used on her undergraduate work. The September 21 SMS luncheon featured Howard Robertson, Chief Executive Officer and Principal of TRUST Marketing and Communications, Inc., a media relations firm.  He is also the CEO/Principal of SPOTSET Radio Network, a second generation unwired radio network.
